DnD Thu Ep#78(300) Played Aug 01, 2019 (Ches 12, 1490) HS!!! Pt4

INTRODUCTION

When last we left the Deep Hammers, 
their quest to save the universe 
had inspired the team 
to engage a six headed formation 
of undead minions 
from SIX DIFFERENT WORLDS!!,
leveraging their own disadvantages 
in a multi-pronged surface and aerial attack!!
Let's rejoin our tenacious team in Combat Round 4 
as the Undead Minions of 
(insert name of super-villain here)
launch their counter-attack!!

HERBAK22:  flanks right, staying invisible
LLYRIN21:  moves back to FLORA
AURORA20:  (on another world) breaks free from RETRIEVER-9 on a successful STR check, saves for poison, moves toward ARGUS, who is still grappled
GILAM18 flies (fly, fall, fly) for VERALT
VERALT16: recasts temporal transfusion on GILAM
>  GILAM:  move 60' forward (already up 60')
FLORA2: stays invisible, moves forward 50'
ARGUS0: (on another world) tries to break free, but ties STR check@25
RETRIEVERSs:  (on another world) moves 80' toward the large stone structure on the hill/horizon
>   OPPORTUNITY ATTACK from AURORA - attacks Retriever 9 for 12
DEATH KNIGHTs:  casts dispel magic - GILAM falls - 26 bludgeoning damage on impact
> carried VERALT lands on his egg, which breaks - he zaps away to LONGSADDLE
BEHOLDER ZOMBIEs: fire for no effect (miss)

HERBAK22:  gripping his egg, grappled by RETRIEVER-b, keeps eyes open
LLYRIN21:  run 80 along the edge of the platform feet, cunning action (bonus action) hide (22)
AURORA20:  dash 60' to w/i 10-15' of the RETRIEVER-9 with ARGUS
> Uses action surge to throw Sun Forger as a fireball @ the RETRIEVER-9 with ARGUS - FIREBALL!! (6d6=26) damage to RETRIEVER-9, which doesn't drop ARGUS (blast was at the backside of the RETRIEVER, so doesn't damage ARGUS
GILAM18:  with 75 feet to BEHOLDER-5, 100' to the far side, dashes 60' straight toward the BEHOLDER-5, then use bonus action to misty step 30' between DEATHKNIGHT-5 and BEHOLDER-5 and ducks down
STEALTH CHECK = 7 (ooops)
VERALT16:  realizing he can't help much here (LONGSADDLE),
Casts Lvl 3 create minor paradox - takes back/change/add 1 action in his own history (goes back 1 round, thus he didn't cast 2nd temp trans on GILAM
Instead, he had cast anti magic cube of force (side 4=spell effects can't pass through barrier) around GILAM and VERALT when they were flying back over the platform
undo damage on gilam (+18)
undoes misty step
 --- GILAM then isn't in range of the Deathknight to be hit by dispel magic)
GILAM is still in the air with VERALT
