INTRODUCTION

When last we left Team Food for Worms, 

they were doing their best to process what it meant 

to take on four new party members 

who'd appeared as if by magic out of the living rock 

ALL WHILE descending carefully into  

the deepest, CREEPIEST CAVERN EVER !!!

And as if that wasn't enough to process,  

the grinding sound of metal on metal soon fell upon the team's ears, 

revealing the approach of massive metallic spider constructs from below ... 

Action stations! team Food for Spider-mechs!

SCENE 01- SPIDERMECHS

One by one, FIVE hulking metallic spider constructs (RETRIEVERS) work their way up the canyon walls with startling speed, especially given their LARGE (meta) size. The further they climb, the clearer it becomes that the party is their target.

1. NOTE - If the webs aren't anchored between two solid masses (THEY WEREN'T) or layered across a floor, wall, or ceiling (THEY WEREN'T), the conjured web collapses on itself, and the spell ends at the start of your next turn (WHICH IT WILL). Webs layered over a flat surface have a depth of 5 feet.

Quite suddenly, there's another small earthquake deep below MIRABAR and as the cavern wall across from the party suffers a partial cave in (away from them), an opening forms, filling instantly with a flood of milky green water, the outwash of which blasts Retriever #5 off the cavern wall, falling out of sight below (you don't hear it hit). As the pool of water in the small new cave becomes still, an aquatic figure stands and looks about. Jettisyn Esturath, Triton Warlock, seems remarkably un-phased by recent happenings and begins talking about snacks.
