INTRODUCTIONS

When last we left Team Food For Worms

they were contemplating the timeless question

"To Climb or Not to Climb"

Here we are, stuck in the middle with ...

The team starts out on the "lower level" (in Room 76) with Ghouls and a Ghast to the EAST and BANSHEEs to the North and opts to climb up to the remains of Room 16 above them.
MOSS lifts ANDREA up to the bit of floor remaining near the SW door, where she drives a piton into the wooden door jam and secures a rope.
MOSS helps the team members climb up to the doorway and they file into the corridor WEST of Rm 16.
A tremor shakes the ground and two more shimmering orbs of energy enter the room from below, dropping BALGRI and HIGAR 10 feet for 3 points of bludgeoning damage.
MOSS peers down and makes introductions, then offers them a rope to climb up. Both succeed in making their way onto the ledge.
MEANWHILE, ANDREA, E'SSL and SHAMIRA scout the winding corridor ahead, finding no obstacles, traps or nasty monsters.
ANDREA spies a door to the end of the corridor (wooden, locked, no trap) and after breaking her special pick for such locks, invites MOSS to kick it open, which he does.
MOSS and ANDREA scout the next room (30'x50' empty) and find only a scrawling on the WEST wall ("there's no way out!").

ANDREA locates a door in the NORTH wall (iron, stuck, trapped) and un-traps it and invites MOSS to kick it open.
Two tries later, he's almost got it open when something on the other side forces the door AND the frame it's in back toward the party.
MOSS kicks it open and reveals TWO UMBER HULKS awaiting them on the other side.
