INTRODUCTION

When last we left Team Big-Bad-Bug-Bate,

the team had discovered a 30x30' chamber 

FILLED with THREE nasty Ankhegs ... 

There was some other stuff in the room, 

but you haven't really noticed that yet.

SCENE 1 - Bug Fight

OLOTUI (20): filling the bug room with spike-growth up to the door (2d4/5')

ANKHEG 1 (19) [39-66]: fires acid at NES for 12 acid damage

ANKHEG 2 (19) [39-66]: fires acid at NES for 13 acid damage

ANKHEG 3 (19) [39-66]: fires acid at NES for 4 acid damage

EMERY (16): magic missile @A3 for 

EKUN (10): dart @A3 for 7 piercing

NESDALYNN (8): lays hands on self for 20hp; 

YESDI (5): two misses ... ooops 

ROUND 2

ROWAS (21): firebolt misses A3

OLOTUI (20): casts healing word on NES for 7hp; creates a bonfire on A3 (failed) 

ANKHEG 1 (19) [39-66]: 23 piercing as it makes its way to the door (bug dead) 

ANKHEG 2 (19) [39-66]: 16 points of piercing damage grapples YESDI after doing 10 points of bite and acid damage 

ANKHEG 3 (19) [39-66]: hold 

EMERY (16): firebolt A2 - nails A2

EKUN (10): flurry of blows at A2; 8 bludgeoning 

NESDALYNN (8): hold action until; after YESDI - moves to front, shield of faith (bonus) +2AC for 10 minutes; breath weapon 

YESDI (5): misty step 20' back and shoots arrow at A2; takes 23 and falls prone 

ROUND 3

ROWAS (21): @A2 scorching ray - 3 misses 

OLOTUI (20): @A2 with magic rock - misses 

ANKHEG 1 (19) [39-66]: 

ANKHEG 2 (19) [39-66]: 11 piercing from retreating through the spikes and dies. 

ANKHEG 3 (19) [39-66]: bfeath wapn attack fials at nes 

EMERY (16): firebolt @A3 for 4 hp

EKUN (10): misses with a dart @A3

NESDALYNN (8): command "approach" for 17 points of piercing damage 

YESDI (5): gets 14 hp back and misses the bug 

ROUND 4

ROWAS (21): scorchign ray for 7 hp damage, 

OLOTUI (20): lapses the spikes and casts a bonfire for 1hp fire damage 

ANKHEG 1 (19) [39-66]:

ANKHEG 3 (19) [39-66]: failed breath at NES

EMERY (16): mm A3 for 13 hp force damage and it dies.
