INTRODUCTION
Just when the team thought things couldn't get ANY weirder,
LLYRIN activated his teleportation gem ...
but the team didn't end up where he thought they would.
The Deep Hammers now find themselves
on a creepy, rainy, cold, dismal world
fighting skeletons in an abandoned tavern.

SCENE 1 - BATTLE WITH SKELETONS
Note: LLYRIN, CLOVER, AURORA all have clothes and gear; VERALT, GILAM, FLORA, HERBAK get simple clothes from the warehouse; ARGUS ... naked, wielding an oak club. 😉
ROUND 3
(Trying team initiative this time)
DEEP HAMMERS
ARGUS: using oak club; bashes Sk1 for 11 bludgeoning!! Sk1 Ribs broken, left arm gone.
GILAM: moves over fallen Sk2 in tavern doorway; moves 30' until surrounded by 11 sk's; past the doorway, 15 ft past Argus, casts THUNDER STEP (verbal) and teleports to the rear doorway in tavern; THUNDER STEP deals an air-rippling shock wave for 26 points of thunder damage!!! which obliterates the 11 skeletons inside into a cloud of bone fragments and powder!!! "Argus, it's all clear!"
FLORA: E-BLASTS @Sk1 (with BOGO free blast!!) for 14 points of gleaming force damage, taking out Sk1.
The team is now somewhat secure in the town of Deathly Hollow, standing over the remains of 19 skeleton warriors.
CHECKING OUT THE TOWN
ARGUS: Heads to the warehouse for a long shirt.
AURORA: Goes into the tavern for a drink. INV 6 reveals 17 broken bottles, 2 with undead bugs, and one with brown liqueur in it (aged whiskey). Invites the team to join.
VERALT: Borrows LLYRIN's Rich Guy Bolo Tie, focuses on the tie, using its chronomantic charmed form as a spell focus.
FLORA: Sees down an alley, and spies a cutlery store and a candle shop along the same street as the tavern; down the alley, an old house.

CLOVER: Looking in the cutlery shop. Floor covered in blades. INV = 28!! Finds A: perfect fit and weight Machete 8 slashing dmg, B: gorgeous Stilleto 4dmg with poison edge in blade, C: perfectly balanced d6 throwing knife.
GILAM: in the tavern, looks for a fist sized smoothe stone; %=85 finds the perfect stone lying on the floor next to the fireplace
FLORA: looks for magnetic stone in the cutlery shop, tries to step over some blades, into a whole in the floor 😕
HERBAK: looking for twine and wooden utensils, such from which to make a holy symbol;%=63 ... After finding same, he sees someone out the tavern door someone slamming the front door of the house.
VERALT: looking for red and blue tinted glass in the tavern, find 3red and 4 blue.
GROUP PERC CHECK: GL:13 AU:23 AR:23 HK:12 FL:10 LL:26 CL:16 VT:23
-- Over 18, all realize something is going on in the old house, all leave tavern to investigate, with CLOVER following VERALT closely, trying to share knives.
ARGUS joins the group, bragging about a section of stout, shiny curtain rod he can use as a club, only to see CLOVER showing off the three new fancy knives ... 😕😕😕
DEEP HAMMERS IN THE HOUSE!!
House is in very good shape, 3 boards nailed across the door, picture of cute blonde girl nailed to door with ref X painted over her cartoonlike visage.
VERALT: casts HOUR GLASSES looks back 5 minutes: living human with red hair peers out, ready to close the door, eyes widen, slams the door.
FLORA knocks, while GILAM checks for traps. No trap, but scurrying inside after knocking. CLOVER notices a partially boarded up window, unblocked, looks inside. Sees a glimmer of light disappear into the floor. "I think someone went downstairs ... But I don't know where they went"
VERALT: pulls the planks off the door
Group enters first room
ROOM 1
Smells nice, food has been recently prepared hear.
PERC CHECKS - Above 15 ... Notice footprints in flour leading into the next room.
INVESTIGATE: G13, F12, V9

-- Several hand and light crossbows stashed around the room
VERALT takes hand crossbow
1 more HCB And 1 LCB go with group
ROOM 2
LLYRIN detects a trap in the trap door in the 2nd room. Some kind of shooting trap.
As GILAM tries to convince CLOVER to disarm traps in the hatch door, after others take cover, FLORA uses MAGE HAND to open the hatch.
A dozen sharp bolts fly throught the air, narrowly missing GILAM and CLOVER as they enter the room, others safely behind cover
